1. Agreement
By installing or using WS Cookie Consent, you agree to these terms on behalf of the merchant business you represent and confirm authority to bind it.
2. Service
The app provides consent banners, category preferences, cookie declarations, privacy signal synchronization, configured script loading, consent records, scans, and administration. Features may evolve and depend on Shopify, themes, browsers, tags, and third parties.
3. No legal advice
The app is a technical tool. It does not determine applicable laws, provide legal advice, or guarantee compliance. Merchants are responsible for legal review, accurate disclosures, lawful tracking, configuration, and ensuring all storefront technologies respect choices.
4. Merchant responsibilities
- Provide accurate policy, category, cookie, and integration information.
- Use only content, scripts, and URLs you are authorized to use.
- Review scan findings and test actual storefront behavior.
- Protect accounts and restrict staff access.
- Comply with Shopify rules, laws, and third-party terms.
5. Acceptable use
You must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, introduce malicious code, scan unrelated systems, infringe rights, circumvent limits, or use the service unlawfully.
6. Third parties
The app depends on Shopify and may interact with Google, Meta, themes, and other services. WS Themes does not control third-party availability, policies, or changes.
7. Fees
If paid plans are offered, final pricing, trial, billing interval, usage limits, taxes, and charges will be shown through Shopify or the listing.
8. Intellectual property
WS Themes retains rights in the app, website, branding, documentation, and technology. Merchants retain their content and grant limited rights needed to operate the service.
9. Availability
The service is intended to be reliable but is not guaranteed uninterrupted. Maintenance, security work, platform changes, or events outside reasonable control may affect operation.
10. Termination
Merchants may uninstall the app. Access may be restricted for material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment, platform requirements, or discontinuation.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties that can lawfully be excluded.
12. Liability and disputes
Qualified counsel must complete the liability cap, exclusions, indemnity, governing law, dispute forum, notices, and mandatory jurisdiction-specific protections before launch.
