Running a Storefront Scan#
Navigate to Cookie Scanner
Inside the WS Cookie Consent Shopify admin, click on the Scanner tab.
Trigger Automated Scan
Click Scan Storefront Now. The crawler inspects your homepage, product pages, collection pages, and cart.
Assign Categories
Review newly discovered cookies and assign them to Necessary, Functional, Analytics, or Marketing.
Reviewing Discovered Cookies#
Once the audit completes, each cookie is matched against our centralized privacy dictionary to suggest categorizations and retention lifespans.
Exporting Compliance Proofs#
WS Cookie Consent stores pseudonymous consent audit records (UUID, country, timestamp, categories chosen) with zero raw PII. You can export timestamped CSV files anytime for legal defense audits.
